The first step is to determine which visa type you need, and check whether you’re eligible to apply for it.
You’ll also need to know the documents that you’ll have to submit along with your application, how long the application might take and fees you’ll have to pay.
Each application must comply with the guidelines applicable for your visa category.
If your documents are not in English, you may need to get translations prepared before applying.
Once you are ready to apply, go to The Algeria VFS Visa Center to Apply for your Algeria Visa online.
After you Application you can also download and print the Algeria Visa Application form, and bring it with you to The Algeria VFS Visa Application Centre for submission.
Once you have Applied for your Algeria Visa, you need to Book Your Appointment to have your fingerprints and Collect your documents at The Algeria VFS Visa Application Centre. This is known as ‘Biometric Information’.
Once you’ve Booked Your Appointment, you’ll receive an appointment confirmation email along with the Appointment Letter.
If you are part of a family or group, you’ll be able to book for up to 5 members only with the same account..
Every Algeria Visa Applicant, including children/infants, must submit his/her visa application in The Algeria VFS Visa Application Centre by Appointment Only.
It is advised to Book Algeria Visa Application Appointment as soon as applicants know they will be travelling, allowing enough time for visa application to be processed and taking into consideration the days that the Visa Application Centres may be closed (Public holidays/Closures).

Once you have Applied Your Algeria Visa Application and Booked Your Appointment, you will need to pay your visa application fee. You can download the form to print and bring to The Algeria VFS Visa Application Centre.
You’ll have to submit your complete Akgeria Visa Application Form at The Algeria VFS Visa Center in person.
You will receive an email update when your decision has been returned to the Visa Application Centre. Additionally, My Algeria VFS Portal provides enhanced tracking features to keep you informed at every step of your visa application journey. If you cannot access email easily, or would like more convenient and detailed tracking information, you can opt to receive notifications directly via SMS, ensuring you stay updated wherever you are.
Through My Algeria VFS Portal , you can also track your visa application status online by using the Reference Number on the invoice/receipt issued by the Visa Application Centre along with your last name. Furthermore, the portal offers real-time notifications about updates on your application, scheduled interview dates, and any additional requirements from the consular authorities, making the process seamless and stress-free.
After a visa application decision has been made, you can pick up your documents from The Algeria VFS Visa Center or have your documents returned to you by courier for an additional fee. For some The Algeria VFS Visa Centers your documents will only be returned via courier.
Collecting your documents in person: bring the receipt issued by the Visa Application Centre and a form of Government identification. If permitted you may be able to send a representative to collect your documents; they will need to present a letter of authorisation signed by you, bring the receipt issued to you by the Visa Application Centre and their Government identification.
